
Ongoing project and performance, 2024–
First performance: July 10, 2024 — Gombolyag, Hungary
Before dawn, five artists — with little to no prior experience in theatre — walked out to an empty clearing. There, they performed a story created solely for their own amusement. No one witnessed this performance outside of the five participants, and no documentation was made.
This act formed part of a broader artistic research project that asks whether theatre — and, by extension, art — can exist without an audience. Theatre Without an Audience proposes that art, in its purest and most uninhibited form of creation, remains fully present even when it is never perceived by an external observer.
